For these features to get implemented you need to create Shared folders on Dropbox and then assign permissions to members.
How to share folder on Dropbox:
As said earlier, to share folder on Dropbox you first need to create Shared folders. Once folders are created they can be shared among people with permissions to view, download or edit. The whole content inside the folder is accessible by the members and they can add or edit the content from these folders. Dropbox is more preferable because it will keep the shared folders updated when they are edited by the members who have edit access. Individual files cannot be shared hence you need to keep the files inside a folder and then make it as shared folder on Dropbox.

Step 6: When you select Share option in the pop-up screen type the emails followed by an optional message. Then select Can Edit and click on Invite button.
By this you give Edit Access to all the emails listed, hence they can change your content and Dropbox keeps it updated instantly.
If you give only view permission the members cannot be able to edit the file, whereas if you give edit access members can change the content. The folder within a shared folder cannot be accessed differently. But if you want to arrange permissions to subfolders it will be applicable for the entire folder. Then permissions for the entire folder gets changed. And most importantly you cannot remove the member to access the file once the invitation has been sent. So make sure before sending the invitations. For any queries and suggestions feel free to comment below.
