We are all human beings and we all want to do good deeds in our life, and off course, we take pledges in our hearts, like donating some fund to orphanages, feeding the hungry and so on. And when we look inside our hearts we feel sad because at the end of the day, we either forget or we postpone or we simply feel it’s not the right time to do it. And due to such lame excuses we don’t achieve in doing our so-called good deeds.
What is the vPledge app?
Now to boost up our thoughts and to give a strong determination in completing out tasks we require some triggering which constantly reminds us of the Pledge we made. This task of reminding has been put on to an Android App called vPledge that is developed by two kids Priyal Jain and Prateek Mahesh who are just 13 years old. This app is developed to support in doing good deeds like feeding the poor, planting the trees, or take part in making mother Earth more sustainable for the living.
How this app vPledge functions?
The user has to download it from Google Play Store, install on his Android Smartphone which runs on Android v4.1 and above. Once it is installed, a user can take the pledge and work on completing it. After completing the pledge user can share it with the social media or even challenge friends and get some points to redeem. Also, the user moves on to the next pledge. In this way, users can take small pledges and after completing can share the joy.
The kids learnt Android programming at ACADGILD, developed this app. As this app is new, more pledges are yet to be introduced. So finally these two kids wanted to stand for a good cause and are inviting people to stand up and take the pledge in making our planet a happier place to live.
